Andrew Quin

Skye and Andrew Quin are a dynamic couple, born and raised in Melbourne they purchased a 7 hectare vineyard in Seppeltfield in the heart of the Barossa Valley with the goal of making exceptional red wine.  As head winemaker for both Hentley Farm and Ricca Terra, Andrew knows how to make wine, and works closely with the viticulturalists to ensure he always has the best fruit to work with. 

These are wines of power as one would expect from the region, but this is wielded with precision and detail with minimal use of new oak and not a berry of overripe fruit.

In 2022 Andrew was the winner of the Jimmy Watson Memorial Trophy for his Hentley Farm Grenache, so he clearly knows what he’s doing. Cheers !
