Terra Vitis & HVE

The Vinet family have farmed their vineyards since 1948. Starting with
the La Quilla domaine, they acquired the Domaine Saint Martin in 2000.
     Focusing solely on the melon de bourgogne grape, the three muscadet
are a celebration of terroir, with the Domaine de St-Martin vineyard composed
of granite and gneiss, and the Domaine de la Quilla vineyard composed
of micaschist, gneiss and amphibolite.
      Their holdings also include a 0.7 hectare clos in the Cru Communal of
La Haye-Fouassière made up of amphibolite and serpentinites, which they elevate on lees for 24 months followed by extended bottle ageing before release.
