Olivier Giroux is a dynamo of a man, farming his 8 hectares of vines himself, as well as making all the wines and looking after the sales. Born in the Mâcon, he learned his craft in the northern Rhône valley working in a large commercial winery. When the opportunity came along to take over a domaine with a 7 generation history he decided to move back to the Mâcon, convert the vineyards to organic, and focus on making site specific Chardonnay that is as high quality as anything from the Côte d’Or.
